Meet the Teachers:
Hi! My name is Karen West. I married my wonderful husband in 1981 and we have two great boys and two terrific grandsons, Colton and Dylan! I also have the most precious and faithful dog named Baron. I worked at SR Global for 27 years before coming to PCCC in February of 2013. I do many different jobs at PCCC including covering teacher's planning time and substituting in different classrooms, but I spend my mornings and afternoons with the school-agers. I drive the bus to Scott in the morning and pick up the kids in the afternoon. I also work with the school-agers if school is out of session. I love the energy of the school aged children!
My name is Rayanna Card, but most people call me Ray. I attended Parents Choice Child Care as a preschooler myself and now I am back as a teacher! I have an older sister and a mother that I love to spend time with. I recently graduated from North High School in 2015. In high school, I took a child education class and absolutely loved it! As soon as I heard that PCCC was hiring, I came in to to apply! I love working with children and love to be active, so you can usually find me running around the playground like one of the kids. In the classroom, I love circle time and reading books. I plan on working to take classes and earn my CDA through Ivy Tech. I plan to work with children until I retire!
Hello! My name is Jessica Neal. I am 27 years old and started at PCCC in January 2015. I am married to a wonderful man named Matt and together we have three children, Gabriel, Tyler, and Nathan, that also attend PCCC.
Growing up, my mom ran a daycare out of our home that I enjoyed helping with. In high school, I took classes in child development. I've always had a love for children and enjoy watching the children in my class grow, learn, laugh, and play!
I am so excited to be working on my CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) specializing in Preschool through Ivy Tech! I can't wait to learn new ideas to bring back to the classroom!
