Meet the Teachers:
My name is Alyssa Slaton. I have been working at PCCC since September 2008. I graduated from Harrison High School in 2008 and completed one year at USI as a nursing major before getting the job here at PCCC and switching to early childhood education. I have my CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) in Infants and Toddlers.
I married my high school sweetheart in 2015 and we had our first child, Garrett Joseph in February 2016. I have two dogs; a lab named Opie and an australian shepard named Jace.
I love anything outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, etc! My husband and I are St. Louis Cardinals fans and go to games often. I also love anything that requires art: drawing, painting, DIY projects! You name it! I love teaching 2 year olds. It's an awesome age and the kids learn and grow so much in just one year! I have worked with Tessa for about 6 years and we are best friends! I love my job!
My name is Tessa Rittenbery. I have worked at PCCC since April 2010. I enjoy family time with my husband Justin and son Hudson. We are currently expecting another son, Holland, in December 2016. We enjoy outdoor sports such as volleyball, soccer, and basketball. I love arts and crafts! I love children and teaching them how to use the potty. My coworker, Alyssa, and I have worked together since September 2010. We are best friends and very active in each other's lives. I am looking forward to the future!
